Het is een ware ramp als je computersysteem totaal uitvalt. Ik heb dit nu in zeer korte tijd 4 keer achter elkaar meegemaakt en ik hoop oprecht dat de grootste problemen nu onder controle zijn gebracht. De voorgaande keren heb ik het systeem door de dealer laten installeren, maar daar ben ik nu wel klaar mee. Nu heb ik die zaakjes maar weer zelf ter hand genomen in de hoop dat het deze keer goed blijft gaan. Het heeft alleen veel tijd gekost.
It is a disaster when your computer system crashes. It happened to me 4 times in a row and in very short time. I hope that the serieous problems have been brought under control this time. The dealer installed the system-, and other software three times, but I am ready with him. Now I have done it by myself, just like in the old days and I hope this time it will work fine in the future. It only cost much time.
Je kan wel backups maken van al je gegevens, maar dat betekent niet, dat je dan weer direct online kunt gaan. Ik maak gebruik van nogal wat software die goed beveiligd is tegen kopieren en al die beveiligingen van de programmamakers maken het wel eens moeilijk om ze opnieuw te installeren na een computer crash. Er kan veel tijd in gaan zitten om alles weer draaiend te krijgen. Maar goed, laat ik maar over iets anders beginnen, het lijkt er op dat de belangrijkste dingen nu weer goed werken.
You can make backups of all your data, but that does not mean, that you can go online immediatly. I am using a few software programs, excellent protected against illegal copying, and all those protections by the program makers make it difficult to reinstall after a computer crash. In my case it cost a lot of time to get everything working as I want it to work. OK, let's start from here to make a new beginning, it seems that the most important things work fine now and I cross my fingers to keep it that way.
Nu terug naar het schrijven, en foto's maken. Waar ik niets aan kan doen is het weer. Dat wil ook niet erg. De donkere, grauwe, natte dagen nodigen niet uit om er gezellig met de camera op uit te gaan. Ik heb intussen wel een idee, maar heb weinig zin om alles te laten verregenen en drijfnat thuis te komen. Zo teruglezend is het eigenlijk allemaal een trieste boel, en die kant wil ik helemaal niet op!
Now back to writing in my blog, and making photos. There's nothing I can do about the weather. That's also boring. I hate the dark, grey, rainy days as I mentioned earlier several times. Those days don't invite to go outdoors with a camera. In the meantime I got a few ideas for a new story, but I have no sense to come home, drenched and cold by rain. Actually as I read these lines back then it's a sad story, and that's the last I wanted!
Zodra het weer het toelaat ben ik weer op weg en kom terug met nieuwe foto's. Maar nu weet iedereen weer dat het de goede kant opgaat. :-) Voor nu wens ik iedereen een fijne dag met veel zon en een strak blauwe lucht.
As soon as the weather permits I am on my way, far from this chair and the flat screen in front of me, and then I come back with new photographs and a short story. For now everybody knows that everything is fine with me and my mood goes up. :-) From here I wish you a nice sunny day and a clear blue sky.
