Canada win men's team pursuit! :-)

Maar.... In de kleine finale zetten Sven Kramer, Jan Blokhuijsen en Mark Tuitert met 3.39,95 een nieuw olympisch record neer.

But.... In the semi final, Sven Kramer, Jan Blokhuijsen en Mark Tuitert put down a new Olympic Record with 3,39.95

Eindelijk krijg ik weer rust, eindelijk kan ik weer op tijd naar bed. Nog één spannende finale Hockey wedstrijd kijken Canada vs. The U.S.A, dat moet het grote sluitstuk worden van deze mooie spelen in Vancouver, Canada. En dan nog even doorzetten om de afsluiting van de spelen te zien. Ik ben benieuwd wat dit voor spectakel wordt. De afgelopen twee weken heb ik genoten en meegeleefd bij alle spanning, de vreugde en het verdriet van de athleten en het publiek. Ook onze deelnemers aan de spelen hebben prachtige prestaties geleverd al was het niet altijd datgene ze voor ogen heeft gestaan.

Finally I get rest, finally can I go to bed on time. The only match I'm going to watch on TV tonight is the final Hockey game between Canada and the U. S. A, I expect that it will be the most exciting final of these Olympic Games in Vancouver. I am curious what spectacle this will be between these giants. And then the closing off of the games, two weeks of sport and entertainment come to an end and I enjoyed the tension, the joy and the sadness of the athletes and the public. Also our participants in the games were successful, maybe not as much as they expected but nevertheless their performances were great.
