Steeds meer mensen sluiten zich aan bij deze "Social Networks", en ook ik heb dat gedaan en werkelijk mijn best gedaan om de leuke dingen er uit te halen. Maar het lukt mij niet er plezier aan te beleven, eerlijk gezegd vind ik er helemaal niets aan. Misschien komt dat door mijn leeftijd, ik begrijp dat vooral veel jonge mensen het leuk vinden om aan die korte zinnetjes en opmerkingen plezier te beleven. Maar eerlijk gezegd doet het mij helemaal niets als iemand in vijf woorden vertelt dat hij/zij op het punt staat met de trein weg te gaan. Wat moet ik met zo'n mededeling? Of dat ze net van een korte vakantie teruggekomen zijn. Verder niets over die vakantie zelf..... Nee hoor, ik ga mijn accounts bij Twitter, Facebook, Myspace etc.... weer afsluiten of in ieder geval niet verder gebruiken, ik kan mijn tijd beter gebruiken :-)
Dit was een reactie die ik nog ontving in Facebook en dat was de bevestiging dat ik niet alleen sta in mijn idee over deze netwerken.
More and more people are joining these "Social Networks" and so did I. I really put a lot of effort in it to find amusing things in it. But I did not succeed to experience much fun there, honestly, I do not like these networks at all. Perhaps is it my age, I understand that especially younger people have fun with the short lines and remarks but for me it is meaningless. It does not mean anything to me when someone tells in five words that he/she is on his/her way to the train. What can I do with this kind of communication? Or when they returned just from a short holiday. Further nothing, not a word about that holiday itself.... Yes, I think I will close my Twitter-, Facebook-, MySpace- etc. accounts... in any case I am not going to use them any longer, I have better ideas to spend my time : -) By the way.... this is the second time I am closing these accounts :-)

"I am still with blogger, too. It seems no one hardly blogs anymore. I like it the best because people tell stories, talk about their families, and tell things about their lives. I only go on Facebook to keep in touch with my relatives and friends that I don't see very often. I don't like playing all the games, etc. on Facebook. I don't bother with Twitter and MySpace. So, I guess I will see you on blogger"
